Keep jewellery away from perfume, hairspray and cleaning products. Put it on last and take it off first.
Water and activity
Many people remove jewellery before swimming, bathing, exercising or sleeping. Taking it off for these is a sensible default.
Storage
Store pieces separately in a soft pouch or lined box to avoid scratching and tangling.
